Our Governing Body

The Governors are a well informed and committed group of volunteers who work as a team to serve Northern House School and foster its aims. The Governing Body is responsible for working strategically in partnership with Mr Barker (Headteacher) and staff to identify the most important aspects of the School which need to be improved, agreeing plans to achieve this and ensuring progress. Its responsibility for the management of the School includes appointing new staff, controlling the school budget and looking after the premises and buildings. The Governors work closely with Mr Barker and staff, make regular visits into school and try to be as proactive as possible.
